Climate

Fiji is located in the tropical climate of the south pacific. The temperatures stay fairly steady all year round between about 25°C and 32°C. There are 2 main seasons in Fiji the wet season from December to April and the dry season from May to November. The best times to travel are in the months of June, September and October when the temperatures average in the late 20's and the rainfall levels are low.

The main international airport is in Nadi, which is also the gateway to the Yasawa and Mamanuca island groups. Many couples choose to spend the first night of their honeymoon in Nadi then catch a boat out to either the Yasawas or the Mamanucas the next day. The islands remain unaffected by the goings on in the capital so the bulk of the tourist industry is rarely affected.
