Florida Honeymoons

Climate

The best time for a honeymoon in Florida is during the summer months from June to early September when the temperature ranges between the late 20°C's and the late 30°C's. In the winter from December to February the temperatures are much lower usually between 5°C and 20°C.

Florida is famous for it's spectacular thunderstorms and tornadoes. While these storms can be fairly extreme they do tend to pass quickly and are usually followed by beautiful sun shine.

Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Due to the subtropical location of Florida it does tend to bear the brunt of hurricanes sweeping through from the Atlantic. While severe hurricanes are quite few and far between it is important to be aware if one is forecast while you are there. Forecasting of these storms is generally very good so make sure you are aware of any official advice that is given.
